HOMEWORK
The student will have an assigned weekly reading that will need to be done at home to be discussed for lessons such as for Literature, Moral Imagination, Geography and Science.
REQUIRED BOOK LIST
- The student will be assigned a book list to purchase for at home readings or to use during class.
- All other lesson material will be covered in class.
SUPPLY LIST
Teachers may request small craft items to be brought in by the student such as toilet paper rolls, rocks, etc.

- The Brendan Voyage, Tim Severin - A study of St Brendan sixth-century voyage from Ireland to America.
- How the Heather Looks, Joan Bodger - A study of the lands of the beloved authors of the UK.
SCIENCE (2x week)
A selection from Sabbath Mood
- Form 3-4 Physics
- Form 3-4 Chemistry
ART (1x week)
Studying and exploring art through a mix of handicrafts and artistic expressions.
LOGIC (1x week)
Fallacy Detective, Nathaniel Bluedorn and Hans Bluedorn - Learning to spot common fallacies in thinking and reasoning.
SPIRITUAL FORMATION AND WORLDVIEW (1x week)
- The Case for Christ, Lee Strobel - A look at what is worth living for and how people before us have stood by their faith through trials.
- And the Word Came with Power, Joanne Shetler - This is the dramatic story of how God set in motion events that knit Joanne and the Balangao people (in the Philippines) together in a spiritual battle that changed them forever.
PRESENTATIONS (1x week)
Developing public speaking skills through a variety of topics and presentation types including bringing in show and tell items from home.
WRITTEN NARRATION (1x week)
This is a time for the students to work on one of the assigned written narrations from that week.
